Captain Jeff Struecker is a decorated military vereran with service in Panama, Kuwait, Somalia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. He played a significant role in the blood-chilling rescue effort in Mogadishu, Somalia that freed the downed helicopter pilots portrayed in the movie, "Black Hawk Down." His story of courage in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds is riviting and inspirational.

History
The Gathering Columbus was established June 1, 1988 as a local chapter of The Gathering USA, Inc. with the national office in Orlando, Florida. Since that time, tens of thousands of adults and students have participated in Gathering-sponsored programs. |
Leadership
Harvey Hook is Executive Director and Founder of the Columbus chapter that he coordinates through a local Advisory Board and the National Board of Directors. |
