The Power of an Ordinary Life

Harvey Hook

Speaker, Author

Harvey Hook touches on the legacy that each one of us hopes to leave. Harvey explores the concept of redemptive action and how each of us can impact the world around us. He uses true-life stories of people in ordinary life who were plunged into remarkable circumstances and achieved extraordinary things. Using stories of both young and older people that are current and historical, this books appeals to a wide range of people. From these stories, the author derives insights and truths to help others apply themselves to make a difference in this world.

Kim Phuc

Harvey Hook doesn't just write about making a difference, he does it! Using examples from Ashley Smith to Elisabeth Elliot to my daughter, Rachel Scott, Harvey challenges us to change the world. Sometimes it's the simple acts of kindness in obedience to God that revolutionize people's lives. I urge you to accept Harvey's challenge in The Power of an Ordinary Life.

Darrell Scott

founder, The Columbine Redemption

The most powerful preservation of history is captured not in events but through the lives of the people that lived it. The Power of an Ordinary Life will become a classic of our generation and future generations as it serves to capture the lives of those who made some degree of history in their time. I recommend this book for information, inspiration, and transformation. It's a winner.

Dr. Myles E. Munroe

Time changes, world order changes, people change, nations change, and ethics change - but God never changes. The old excuse of "everybody else is doing it" will not hold up when we stand before God. In The Power of an Ordinary Life, Harvey Hook powerfully applies God's Word to today's events.
